We don't waste
your time when you call for technical support -- you speak directly
with the engineer who designed your product! Free technical assistance
is available weekdays from 0900 - 1700, US Mountain Time for one year
starting on the ship date. If you are experiencing a problem, the
preferred way to communicate is via email to .
You will
usually get a response within a few hours to one day, depending on
your time zone. If you have not heard back within a day, we have not
received your email and you will need to resend it. Be sure to read
the appropriate manuals first to see if your problem is answered there.
Technical support guidelines:
- Keep it short. Focus on a
single issue and be concise. We will contact you if we need more
information.
- Be responsive. Respond promptly
and directly to questions we ask. If we don't hear back within
two working days we will assume the problem has been solved.
- Let us analyze the problem.
Although you may be convinced of a bug in the software or a hardware
problem, please follow our instructions so we can make an independent
determination.
- Corroborating data. Be prepared
to attach data files showing the problem.
- Effectiveness. We want to
know if our suggestions fixed the problem so we can pass the solution
on to other users.
- Limitations. Support usually
does not cover general operating system or networking issues or
software and hardware supplied by another manufacturer.
